SIL-University (SIL-U) serves as Soybean Innovation Lab's flagship online extension and learning platform.
Since its launch in August 2019, SIL-U has reached over 4,600 learners, 6,400 enrollments from 123 countries, and awarded over 2200 certificates. SIL-U currently offers 12 free, self-paced, and certificate-based courses. Some of these courses include translated materials to reach French, Portuguese, Malagasy, and Shona-speaking learners.
By offering free, downloadable education and training materials, SIL works to overcome connectivity issues and provide quality curriculum to thousands of learners across the globe.

SIL designed the Soybean Rust Crash course for growers, practitioners, breeders, and researchers so they can learn how to identify and scout for the disease at the optimal stage and manage it before it's too late.
